This is one of the only two Polypipe approved cutters for use with Polypipe Polyplumb pipe (The other is the PB778 Ratchet Pipe Cutters) How to cut a Polyplumb Pipe: Firstly check that the pipe is not scored or scratched in any way and if it is so cut back to a point where there is no damage. Always use one of the approved pipe cutters (PB781 or PB78) A slight rotation of the pipe when cutting will help make cutting easier. Never use a hacksaw and always cut on a depth insertion mark. (These 'K' shaped marks are equally spaced along the pipe and indicate the depth required for full insertion into a Polyplumb socket fitting.
